they claiming to be lawyers trying to collect money for a debt i don't owe from us loan

being harassed by this person fro Yahoo chatt

I do not understand everything this person is saying in the message, but he says for me to call him back regarding an urgent matter or to have my attorney of Record call him back. He has called 3 times so far in the last hour. He also said he knows my social security number.

i think this was a scam phone call. the man stated that i would be picked up at work on monday and taken to the court house by a payday loan i never took out. he had all my personal information and wanted the name of my lawyer. i would not give him the information and told him i would have my lawyer contact him. he became very abusive. there was alot of noise in the back ground and the conversation had mnay dead spots in it as if he was looking up information. he stated he was from a law firm. when i googles the law firms name it is not a valid law firm. when i typed in the phone number they were many complaints about this number being a scam. i even went as far as to contact my local sheriffs office and they also stated he was a scam.

Information on filing an accident claim, already had insurance information but wanted location of accident.

My friend calls me from MO, saying that a guy with a foreign accent said that I took our a payday loan and owe$5000, and that she was going to jail along with me, because my court date is in two days. Then my friend got home called the number and the guy says james anderson is not here call back later. She heard a lot of people talking in the background. Come on now...!! She said they are using differnet numbers. This company does not want you to call them because they feel that the phone number might be traced. So, they would rather call you, unexpectactly...do not give out any information. Is a scam!!!

Called 15 times a day since Dec. 1

This caller does not say anything when they call. The line does not go dead until you hang up.

recieved the phone a few time , when picked up there silence on the other end , tried to called back but the caller refused to pick up the phone.

6 to 7 calls per day. Sunday through Saturday. Regarding 1 missed payment. After making arrangements to pay only a $7 bill and a $30 late penalty, I was still repeatedly called. I spoke with several supervisors who promised to remove my phone number from their list, but was still called. Even after payment was posted, I was still called. Is this a crime involving harassment?

called but didn't leave a message. due to the fact that i have my phone set to only allow calls from the contacts in my phone book. they may get the numbers from craigslist or other sites like that. they get paid to do make telemarketing calls, so why not get the numbers from criagslist?

Called back. Got nothing but music on hold. Left connection up for about five minutes. Nobody ever picked up.
